Congratulations to Postdoctoral Fellow Mohamed Dardir from Terrametrics Research Lab on the recent publication of a book chapter, “Impact of Increased Urban Albedo on Heat-Related Health: The Case Study of the Greater Toronto Area.” that was included in the book “Urban Overheating: Heat Mitigation and the Impact on Health. Advances in Sustainability Science and Technology”.


Congratulations to Terrametrics Research Lab Director, Jeffrey Wilson, for recently co-authoring the publication “Measuring environmental impacts from primary and secondary copper production under the upgraded technologies in key Chinese enterprises” in the Environmental Impact Assessment Review journal with an impact factor of 6.122.

Congratulations to David Benjamin Billedeau and team for their recent publication in the Sustainability Journal investigating the relationship between Canada’s automotive industry, the COVID-19 pandemic, and corporate social responsibility.


Kayleanna Giesinger receives a prestigious SSHRC- Canada Graduate Scholarship – Master’s for her research Identifying a Sustainable Economic System Without Post Colonization Bias.

Kayleanna’s research examines how our western environmental views on "nature" and the "environment" influence economic development practices, policies and systems.


Congratulations to Hasan Muslemani and team for their paper published by the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies examining consumer behaviour towards and the willingness to adopt, ‘green steel’ in the automotive sector.


Congratulations Waris Ali (soon to be team member of UW Terrametrics Research Lab) for publishing a second article within a week.  The article published in Managerial Finance explores determinants of stock price crash risk.
